Welcome to Lord Deramore’s

I am incredibly privileged and proud to welcome you to our school website.

Founded in 1795 and located next to the University of York, Lord Deramore’s Primary is a very special school that has gained a well-deserved reputation locally for providing a creative, diverse and inclusive education.

As you explore our website and social media accounts, you will certainly gain a flavour and feel for the broad, vibrant and child-centred curriculum that we are proud to offer. We hope you enjoy the short video below.

For prospective families, small-group tours of the school are usually offered throughout November and December, after the Autumn half term holiday, and we have also planned an open evening on Monday 13th November at 5.30pm. For more information about this, and about applying for a place at Lord Deramore's Primary School, please see the Admissions page here, on our website. Please do contact the school office in the Autumn term to arrange a visit; it will be wonderful to meet you in person.

I would also recommend that you read our prospectus which outlines the culture, vision and values of our unique school. In addition, our curriculum information outlines what we teach and our Enrichment Passport illustrates how we ensure a memorable and vibrant primary school experience for each of our children.
