Lord Deramore’s Primary is a one-form entry school, situated next to the University of York in the village of Heslington. It is the most diverse school in the City of York, with a third of its children registered with English as an Additional Language and over thirty nationalities represented within its community. Founded in 1795, it is oversubscribed and has a long-standing reputation for providing children with a creative, diverse and inclusive education.

We are in a position to offer an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher the opportunity to join our staff team on a temporary basis.

The post will be a 0.5fte temporary contract, covering maternity leave from the second half of the spring term (Monday 19th February 2018).

The successful candidate will job-share on an alternate working pattern of Monday to Wednesday and Monday to Tuesday each fortnight.
