Australian Artwork

This term Year 1 have worked on several very different styles of Australian Artwork.

Take a look at a few examples below - I am sure you will agree, we have some amazing artists in Year 1!

Traditionally, dot paintings were created using natural materials.

Year 1 used cotton buds with paint to produce their delicate trees.

They worked carefully and were very patient.

The Australian landscape can be a vast scene.

These are our impressions of a Desert Landscape.

We used fine glitter to highlight the shimmering heat.

'Bothered by the Bush' is the title of our watercolour work.

The Australian bush is filled with many creatures, great and small.

Australians often feel very bothered by the buzzing, crawling and slithering.

How many different creatures and insects can you find in our artwork?
