Film Animation

Year 4 decided to make an animation film to share with our partner schools abroad. They wanted a very English story to animate so 'Oliver Twist' by Charles Dickens was chosen.

They created storyboards to show how they would animate the story then they found Victorian backgrounds to use with a 'green screen'.
It was great fun animating the lego figures and they did all the animating themselves.
The music for the film was played by two Year 4 boys using the recording suite at Archbishop Holgate's School.

Year 4 would like to say a BIG thank you to 'Mr PC', a parent volunteer in school, who worked with them on this project. He is seen here in a picture created by his son.

Take a look at our Oliver Twist

Lego animation.
