National Media Museum

Years 5 and 6 had a fantastic day out at the

National Media Museum in Bradford!

They spent time in the Magic Gallery learning about the principles behind photography, film and television.

They practised Morse Code.

They  looked at and through convex

and concave mirrors and glass.

They struck poses in the shadow photography section.

In the Experience TV gallery some

worked on their camera technique . . .

or post production . . .

whilst others honed their autocue reading skills.

Many experimented with the

blue screen and backgrounds . . .

before watching an IMAX 3D film about the construction

of the International Space Station to tie in with our topic -

Earth and Space.
