Year 6 have been studying Macbeth by Shakespeare and based their class assembly on the play.


Here a group are reading their carefully prepared

version of Macbeth in exactly 100 words.


As a letter is read out from Macbeth to Lady Macbeth,

about his first meeting with the witches, some of the

children present a series of tableaux.


A contemporary scene showing King Duncan

arriving at Macbeth’s castle . . .


and Macbeth seeing before him the

dagger he was going to use to kill the King.


The witches appraise Year 6’s artwork

depicting characters from the play and . . .


 . . . we hear several of Year 6’s own

versions of the witches spell.
