Year 1 enjoyed maths outside. They had to hunt for digit cards, make 2 digit numbers and order them.
Then they had to choose a card and write the number one more and one less. They had fun writing in chalk!
We also went on a minibeast hunt in the school grounds. What a lot of ladybird larvae they found.
Year 1 were very excited when they found a Bog Baby in the school grounds.
They made instruction booklets to show how to look after a Bog Baby if you are lucky enough to find one!
They used their whittling skills to create umbrellas to protect their Bog Babies from the sun.
