York Schools Sports Partnership provides a considerable number of services. It provides teachers with training in areas of the PE curriculum where they have indicated they feel need for support. By the end of this year teaching staff will have received support in areas of the curriculum through the YSSN. It also organises inter school festivals/tournaments for our pupils to take part in. So far our school has participated in several sports events with plans to enter more. Evidence of this is posted on Facebook, twitter and on our website. |

New PE subject leader has worked with staff to identify areas of development and will take these priorities to form a strategic professional development plan for next year.Dance Consultant – Ema Havercroft leads a weekly dance class after school for all ages and it is well attended.
Outdoor Learning Week – consultants worked with individual year groups and staff to promote physical activity. |
Develop the role of sports leaders from local Secondary Schools to develop positive attitudes to physical fitness. | Students from Archbishop Holgate School to support extra-curricular activities. | Regular visits from our feeder secondary school has supported positive attitudes to physical activity and fitness. Pupils involved in the sports leaders groups at lunchtimes have continued to be involved in sporting activities. |
